• Is used for monitoring and statistical purposes.

Information collected by advocates is stored in accordance with the Privacy Act. Access to your personal information is restricted to authorised personnel within the service, auditors and the Director of Advocacy.

Information about you and your complaint may also be provided to the Health and Disability Commissioner as required under the Health and Disability Commissioner Act 1994.

You have the Right to receive a copy of the information about you collected by our service, and to have alterations made to anything that is factually incorrect.
